water biscuits vs. cream crackers
They both looked very innocent but alluring me to pick them up even competing each other.
After a desperate hesitation, I chose a pack of water biscuits. There were two serious rational reasons supporting my decision.
First of all, I've had a pack of cream crackers recently. How boring it is to choose the same thing in a row! Even though they costed less than 1 pound for each, I at least wanted to pursued a variety of my choices.
Last but not least, (honestly the most!) as its name gives a impression, water biscuits have less calories per biscuit. I'm not sure whether it comes from the difference between biscuits and crackers (it might probably is going to be the next topic of my research) but a single water biscuit has about 63% of cream cracker's calories. In spite of the two times of the price, I dare picked up a round column shaped water biscuit pack and brought it to my flat.
As you can imagine (because I'm typing on this blog....), I wanted to have something to eat. Reading and writing always involve sort of snacks, finger food, easily peel off fruits, at least teas.
However, it didn't need much time to turn out that it was a trap! A devastating trap!
Yes, the less calories per biscuit was a fatal trap. The light taste of the biscuits encouraged me to keep eating until I realised there's only half left. If I had had cream crackers I wouldn't have consumed like this.(and it goes to almost 450kcal in total, which is almost the same with a recommendable calories of one meal for a girl who insists that she herself is on her diet!!)
At the moment I cannot believe what I've done. I'll read and write much more harder than I was going to from now on to burn out all the calories I took in from the bloody biscuits. Should be on fire!
