Wanna fill your dish with healthy food and feel well-being?

To start this, I must confess that I‘ve put on more than 3 kg for 6 months since I came here. I DO NOT hate the English food, but you might understand that it’s a bit fatty. In my country, I kept quite decent diets, which are based on 3 factors: minimum of carbohydrate (usually rice and various seeds, protein (white meat and fish are better than red meat), and all sort of vegetable (enjoy their crunchiness!).

Just have a look what I used to prepare for the lunch boxes in my country when going on a diet.

However, it was not only about the ingredient but also about the amount of what I eat. I don’t know the reason but I feel always hungry and crave for something sweet here. It sounds funny but it’s true. Apparently I eat more than I used to in my country. To simply, it might be caused by the fact that I’m abroad, apart from my family and friends. Maybe it is the soul not your stomach which feel hungry. Even so, I didn’t want to fill my stomach with fish and chips all the time. I tried to make my host mother give me more vegetable by asking like “more vegetable instead of chips please”, it didn’t work well. For her it was the most difficult in the world. Today she gave me really humble amount of lettuce again. Sometimes I’d like to buy my own lettuce and then add on it.

Sorry for all the blames. One more thing, why are all the sweets and cookies absurdly cheap in this country?

About a month ago, I found a nice looking café while wandering around the center area. (Wandering is one of my favorite activities). For the simple reason that I’ve been busy doing nothing special, I couldn’t got a chance to get into there and try their food for about a month. When my house mate and I decided where to go for lunch today the café dawned on me. She and I took up exercising before breakfast and we’ve been sharing all the worries about the weights and diet together. We like healthy food and vegetable. We headed for Miss Walls Back Garden.

I like this kind of café where they have an open kitchen and we can see what we ordered being cooked.

For lunch, we can choose 1 among 3 options and with 3 side dishes (3 kinds of salad, hooray!). Without a doubt, we enjoyed our lunch. We felt we were having a really decent food, right and just for our bodies, and didn’t notice it was for vegetarian (even vegan!). The more fascinating thing is that they change the menu every day, which means it is really unlikely to come across the same menu and be tired of it even though we go there every day.

I can see myself eating a lunch there another day, absolutely!
